FULL VIEW OR YOU'LL EXPLODE

This was a VERY last-minute entry for 's contest thingy. It was one of those "color-my-lineart, bitches" type things. And I decided, what the hey. I haven't done any completed art in a long time, so I rushed to do this. I still like it though.

So this is my personified version of the Universe, or God or Goddess or Everything or whatever you want to call her. And she's all symbolic and whatnot. Some of it is pretty obvious (like, um, the hair...), but some other things you might not get, so I'll explain them. Her hat is a mountain range, and her headphones are a galaxy. Her eye is made out of the moon, even though you can't really tell. Her eyelids are grass, and her eyebrows are rainbows. Her lips are diamond, but you can kinda see that anyway... and her shirt collar is wood. I wanted to texture her hair, but then I decided not to 'cause then it wouldn't look as much like fire.

Also, I decided to do something interesting to her skin. Since she is Everything, she would be every single race at once. But then, I thought, if I mixed every race together, it'd just come out looking like one race. So she's a gradiant race. Starting at one extreme on one side of her body and moving through to the other extreme, hitting every skin tone inbetween.

Her "mp3 player" is the earth, and the wire coming from it is actually supposed to be an umbilical cord. It's symbolic, yeah. All the stuff about the diety nurturing the earth, etc. etc. Feel free to form your own opinions.

The hardest part of all this was configuring the lineart. I had to delete the extra outline and border so I could add them in digitally without it looking weird, and I had to shape the mp3 wires to look like an umbilical cord. That took a while, and I'm still not sure if I got it right.

I got all her photograph components from stock pictures, so no one sue me plzkthx.

And I really don't know why the earth is glowing. It just is. 'Cause it looks damn cool.

Um.... yup. That's about it. It's pretty and I like it.
